2024-25 Union Budget For Andhra Pradesh: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman on Tuesday declared Rs. 15,000 crore for the construction of Amaravati, the future capital of Andhra Pradesh, in her seventh Union Budget. She declared that the Center would provide all assistance necessary for the state’s comprehensive reconstruction. Additionally, the minister of finance declared that “necessary financial assistance” would be provided to finish the Polavaram big irrigation project on the Godavar River.

The government would make every effort to carry out the duties outlined in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, according to the Finance Minister. According to the standards, “more funds would be allocated to Amaravati,” she declared.
Additionally, the minister of finance declared that “necessary financial assistance” would be provided to finish the Polavaram massive irrigation project on the Godavari River. Referred to as Andhra Pradesh’s lifeline, Sitharaman expressed confidence that the project would significantly aid farmers and ensure food security for the populace. “We’ll work to finish the project as soon as possible,”.
In the same way, money will be set aside not just for the south Andhra district of Prakasam but also for the development of the hinterland areas of Rayalaseema and north Andhra districts.
