Then, should we give a damn? Maybe not. But keep in mind that neither alternative will actually matter in Deadpool & Wolverine, which is essentially an addition to the lighter Deadpool timeline instead of the darker X-Men one. Because of this, Deadpool and Wolverine are immortal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and if one of them lives long enough, the other can always be revived. Still, it has required some work to reconcile the two.
